  • All Them Old-Timey Diseases! – Ensure your villagers have clean water to stop outbreaks of dysentery and cholera. Collect berries and plant greens to avoid scurvy and ensure a healthy diet. Make sure villagers are properly shoed and clothed to reduce chances of contracting tetanus, rabies or frostbite. Build a healer’s house to quarantine the infected and provide herbs and medicine for treatment. Manage rodent populations by collecting waste, securely storing food and employing rat catchers to ward off the feared bubonic plague.

  • Deep tactical turn-based combat where careful planning and flawless rhythmic execution can mean the difference between life and death.
  • Build a warband to suit your playstyle. Each character possesses a unique set of abilities from warrior to warlock or archer to rogue. Level up and unlock new abilities across branching paths, equip 2 trinkets per unit to find powerful combinations and turn the tide of battle with devastating ultimate abilities.
  • Execute your attacks & abilities in time with the tribal beat to maximize the impact and unleash critical strikes. Be warned, keeping to the beat may be harder than it seems: debuffs such as bleeding, blinding and deafening will play havoc with rhythms!
  • Adjust rhythm difficulty – If you choose to set this to Easy, the game will compensate for the timings of the beat inputs, making it easier for you to hit those perfect notes and perform abilities more effectively! Easy mode will also make it less punishing to your units when you miss a beat too.
  • Make use of the battlefield by comboing attacks and hazards: push enemies off cliffs, activate deadly traps, and pull foes into kill zones set by your archer.

Having issues with my launcher?

Then do the following steps manually:

  • Make sure you have virtualization tech enabled in your BIOS: VT-x for Intel or AMD-V (SVM) for AMD
  • Run “VBS.cmd” in the game folder – you might want to download fresh version here: /hypervisor-guide/
  • Press 1 to make necessary changes to the system
  • Reboot and in the loading menu press F7 to disable DSE
  • Run “fm.exe”
  • Play
  • Run “VBS.cmd” again and press 3 to revert made changes
  • Reboot in the normal, secure mode
